The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Content Code (Content Code) is being revised to keep pace with technological advancements, evolving media practices, and the changing digital landscape. This update aims to strengthen responsible content governance while ensuring adaptability to future regulatory developments.

Why is Feedback Being Collected?

This initiative ensures that the Content Code:

• Remains Inclusive & Transparent: Encouraging diverse participation to create a well-rounded framework.
• Adapts to Evolving Regulations: Aligning with existing laws, such as the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, while being flexible enough to accommodate future legal and regulatory advancements, including new industry standards and emerging digital policies.
